About Sally and Clay Clarkson
About Sally: Sally Clarkson is a best-selling author, world renowned speaker, and beloved figure who has dedicated her life to supporting and inspiring countless women to live into the story God has for them to tell. She hosts a weekly podcast "At Home With Sally" where she invites you into her home, thoughts, and life to share her candid wisdom and winsome discipleship. Sally has been married to her husband Clay for almost forty years and together they founded and run Whole Heart Ministries, an international ministry seeking to support families in raising faithful, healthy, and loving children, in an increasingly difficult culture. She has four children, Sarah, Joel, Nathan, and Joy, each exceeding in their own fields as academics, authors, actors, musicians, filmmakers, and speakers. Sally lives between the mountains of Colorado and the rolling fields of England and can usually be found with a cup of tea in her hands.
About Clay: Clay Clarkson is the husband of Sally, father of four, and follower of Jesus. He is a writer, published and self-published author, editor, publisher, acoustic guitarist, and songwriter. After Denver Seminary (MDiv, 1985) he worked with churches in Vienna (Austria), So Cal, Nashville, and Colorado Springs. Clay and Sally started Whole Heart Ministries in 1994. As Executive Director, he is responsible for administration, publishing, and online ministries oversight. His creative ministry tasks include writing, book concept and design for Whole Heart Press, designing ministry websites, and overseeing Whole Heart ministry initiatives. His books include Educating the WholeHearted Child, Our 24 Family Ways, Heartfelt Discipline, and The Lifegiving Parent.
